Students help re-generation

Junior Port Fairy Coastal Group members from Year 6 were joined by Year 5 students from both St Patrick's Primary School and Port Fairy Consolidated School and PFCG volunteers on Friday to plant native coastal grasses to help reduce sand erosion along East Beach.

The planting project was organised by Moyne Shire Council and over 1000 punnets were planted on the dune face behind the recently repaired rock wall.
